Our Sponsors / God Parents
In Filipino culture, wedding sponsors (Ninongs and Ninangs) are chosen to guide and support the couple throughout their married life. During the ceremony, they perform meaningful rituals that symbolize unity, blessings, and the couple's commitment. Beyond the ceremony, these honored individuals remain lifelong mentors, offering wisdom, encouragement, and support, embodying the Filipino values of community and tradition.
Candle Sponsors — Uncle Henry & Auntie Cynthia
Symbolism: The candles represent the light guiding our journey and merging our families into one.
Role: They will light the unity candle to symbolize this union.
Coin Sponsor — Auntie Araceli
Symbolism: The coins (Arrhae) symbolize prosperity, shared responsibility, and trust in our marriage.
Role: She will present the coins, which we will exchange during the ceremony.
Veil Sponsors — Auntie Emma & Auntie Araceli
Symbolism: The veil signifies unity and being “clothed as one”.
Role: They will drape the veil over Anthony's shoulder and Sandy’s head.
Cord Sponsors — Uncle Evaristo & Auntie Neresa
Symbolism: The cord, placed in a figure-eight shape, represents the infinite bond of marriage.
Role: They will place the cord around the us to signify our eternal unity.
Meet the Junior Party
We are so honored to have our beloved godsons play such special roles in our wedding. Our flower boy, Gavin, has a joyful spirit and charming personality that brings so much light into our lives. Our ring bearer, Aizen, has a loving and playful nature that holds a special place in our hearts.
Having these two wonderful boys as part of our wedding is incredibly meaningful to us. Not only do they represent love, family, and friendship, but their presence also reminds us of the precious connections we share with their families. We couldn’t imagine our day without them by our sides!
