Our Story

Sandy and Anthony first met at a company powerlifting meet in 2019, introduced by Sandy’s manager (and Anthony’s cousin), who insisted they had to meet. Not long after, Sandy moved to Los Angeles to pursue her dreams, but Anthony’s dedication never wavered. Nearly every weekend, he drove to L.A. in his trusty orange Prius, even telling Sandy early on, “I’m going to marry you one day.”

In 2020, Sandy returned to the Bay Area during the pandemic, where Anthony and his fur baby, Zeus, welcomed her home. Their bond deepened as they built a life together through life’s quiet, simple moments. In 2022, Anthony proposed, and their family grew to include a second fur baby, Zeni.

Now, in 2025, Sandy and Anthony are back in the Bay Area, where their love story began, ready to start a new chapter together!

What’s one thing Sandy always does that makes Anthony laugh?
She likes to jokingly make huffing and puffing noises at me when she doesn’t get what she wants, so we end up doing what she wants, and then she’s happy lol!
What’s Sandy’s go-to hobby or guilty pleasure when she has downtime?
Getting boba four times a week and secretly obsessing over blind boxes.
What’s Sandy’s ultimate comfort food or favorite meal?
Vietnamese food and boba. Did I mention boba?
What’s something Sandy is secretly amazing at?
She has a knack for making people open up to her without even trying. And she’s amazing at convincing people to get boba with her.

What’s one funny or surprising thing Anthony does when he’s chillen?
He likes to sing songs but replaces the lyrics with random words about Zeus and Zeni. And, sometimes he starts bustin out moves like he’s at the club. LOL
What’s Anthony’s favorite way to spend a Sunday?
If not watching Formula 1 at the crack of dawn, he’s playing trading card games at a TCG shop.
What’s Anthony’s hidden talent that no one expects?
He can dance, specifically pop and locking. Oh, and he used to teach shuffling classes!
What’s something Anthony does that shows how much he loves Sandy?
He always refills my water bottle, no matter how comfortable he’s already gotten in bed or if he just came from downstairs.
